Consular Section are open to the general public as follows (Monday to Friday)

- 0830-1130 - for submitting applications for consular fee bearing services, passport applications, and for birth and death registrations and for the collection of passports and other documents;
- 1600-1630 - for the collection of passports and other documents only; - outside normal working hours a Consular Emergency service is in operation.  For emergency assistance please telephone the Duty Officer on mobile no 0903 404 919.

Visa Section are open to the general public as follows:

- 0830-1130 – for submitting visa applications and collecting visas;
- 1600-1630 - for visa collection only;

The British Consulate General is open from Monday to Friday between 0830 and 1200 and between 1300 and 1630.

Consular Section are open to the general public as follows (Monday to Friday):

- 0830-1100 and 1300-1500 – for submitting applications for passport services (except emergency passports), birth and death registration are forwarded to Hanoi for processing and for the collection of passports and other documents; - outside normal working hours, a Consular service is available for genuine emergencies. Visa Section are open to the general public as follows:
